Because valuable. With lots of money you can choose freely whatever you wanna do. Your time is limites on this earth not money. People say money is not everything but with lots of money you can spend more time with family without work, no stress over expenses, spread strong health. Being rich is the best thing you can be.

I think you misunderstood OP's question, he's talking about how there's no real difference in quality of life between being normal rich and Bill Gates rich. Kanye West in his multibillion dollar mansion isn't actually having a better time drinking alcohol and playing the Last of Us than I am.
