have a relatively old machine
>intel 4790k
>16gb ram
>1080ti
>1050W PSU
it's shit, but never gave me a problem until about a week ago. not even 5 minutes into the games i'd play (battlefield 1/5, elden ring) everything will just freeze and i need to manually restart it, no blue screen or anything just straight freezing. GPU temp is not even 50C when it freezes. all my fans are running, none are stuck. up to date on GPU drivers.
i've been meaning to upgrade anyway which i will now expedite but is there anything i can do figure out what the problem is? any specific programs that immediately dump things to a log? i'm kind of at a loss on how to debug this because again this is happening consistently in under 5 minutes when any game is running.
