I'm completely out of the loop when it comes to buying a gaming PC. Is it still best to buy parts and assemble them? I've seen people now say that you'll get better bang for your buck by getting "custom" PCs from places like NZXT.

Canadian? I dont know much about Canada but I'm from the US.

Its about the same now. The only time you were really saving money was when e-commerce laws were more laxed. You could buy all your PC parts online without having to pay state taxes.

Getting the newly released graphics cards is a bitch. This is the only benefit of buying a prebuilt.

Go the custom build route if you want a certain look for your PC.

almost certainly unless there's some clearance sale
