Would anyone happen to any ideas on what you call the specific electronic music genre that the first opening theme to Frieren belongs to, at least before the double-time section that sounds like any other anison? I want to call it trip-hop, but I think trip-hop is a more specific thing that is not this.

I'm looking for something more specific, something that highlights the hip-hop elements with the syncopated kick beat and the hi-hat rolls, as opposed to electro-pop which I'd associate more with someone like Perfume

I don't think trip-hop is it because Massive Attack and Portishead sound weird, but maybe those are the bands that nerds highlight as peak trip-hop specifically because they like weird music
