There's always an unrecognized USB device, that's Tobii. I played around with power settings for many hours, trying countless combinations, and I somehow got it to recognize "EyeChip" and "Tobii Device". The Tobii application started working. It started scanning my eyes, but at that moment the device instantly disappeared from device manager.
It kept appearing and reappearing infinitely.
Then, I uninstalled and reinstalled Tobii. After reinstalling it has no longer appeared even though I swear the power settings are still the same.
I'm basically checking/unchecking the "let computer save power by shutting this device down" option from all sorts of USB and HID devices. Not sure which ones actually affect Tobii.
Am I on the right track though, as I think this is some kind of power thingy? My laptop has a Thunderbolt fault, and I think it might be related to it somehow in case Tobii and Thunderbolt share a common hub.
