just got this 240hz monitor with AMD Freesync and tried playing call of duty and its super choppy/I still saw something like screen tearing. Turning off freesync made it worse. under nvidia control panel I have the vsync option set to "use 3d application setting".

I'm getting like 90-140 fps but it is fluctuating nonstop, is it the unstable frame rate that is fucking me here? I tried capping it at 120 and it was still choppy. I have a 3060 graphics card
