On a sphere:
slerp(p0, p1, t) = sin((1-t)*Omega)/sin(Omega)*p0 + sin(t*Omega)/sin(Omega)*p1
where Omega = acos(p0 (dot) p1)

You better do a lerp instead. It works with any number of dimensions:
lerp(p0, p1, t) = (1-t)*p0 + t*p1
