They will give children unsupervised free access to phones, internet, and social media, bomb them with seemingly pro-sex messages... But when they get caught posting naked selfies, their privacy and sexual freedom suddenly doesn't matter anymore. They get raided, all of their private stuff searched, maybe even involved in a court case (how many people will look at their private pics?), and actual punishment also happens.
Child abuse cases? Everyone in court gets to hear and maybe to see what happened. Research has not been able to find inherent damage from sexual interaction between minors and adults (despite looking for it so hard), but they know that a significant contributor of child abuse trauma is from, secondary damages. That means from how the minor got treated after the perp got caught.
I don't intend to downplay the damage child abuse can cause, by the way. Not all cases are the same.
Society is fucking itself. Moralfaggotry may cause more harm to children than anyone else. And that only because they don't get their moralfagging under control. Does it not border on mental illness to think of the child as angelic pure being of light that is completely asexual, despite so much contrary evidence? A bit of it is suppressed, innate pedophilia anyway.
