Daniel chapter 8 is about Alexander the Great, prophesied about 200 years prior.
Zechariah is full of trippy imagery and symbolism, like Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation.
Ezekiel 38 and 39, Gog and Magog prophecy.

My recommended sequence for starting out is the four gospels and Genesis and Exodus. In whatever order you see fit.

Oh, hey, 4chan is back! Regarding your question, multiple novelizations that paraphrase the Bible into a coherent story with a plot.

If you read anything but the KJV version, you probably get just as much as if you were reading a complete Bible.
