So there are a bunch of old anime that I never finished, or never even got to watch. A number of these classics have since been revisited in some way, so I'm wondering which is the superior viewing experience.
>Dragon Ball Z
I understand the general gist of the story, but I never actually watched the whole thing. My understanding of Kai is that it's an HD remake of Z without the filler episodes.
One thing to note is that I didn't hate the filler. Goku and Piccolo failing their driving exam will always be iconic.
>Sailor Moon
I watched a little bit of the English dub when I was a kid. I only watched the first episode of the Crystal remake. Apparently the master copy of the original show is decaying, so every digital release has this pink hue to it.
>Ranma 1/2, Urusei Yatsura
I never actually watched these shows, but they're supposed to be really good. Just wondering which version (old or new) would be worth sinking my time into.
I know the new Ranma 1/2 is only 12 episodes in, so in this case I'm wondering if it's at least headed in the right direction.
Once again, there's a lot that I've missed out on, so if you can think of any other popular old anime that has been remade/redone, let me know which version you preferred.
