Does anyone know why I can't open catbox.moe links?

Picrel is the error message I get in my browser.
I'm using Chrome, Version 136.0.7103.49 (Official Build) (64-bit) on a Windows desktop device.
Things I've already tried:
>cleared browsing data, cookies, and cache
>checked device time and date is correct
>disabled all chrome extensions
>disabled Chrome’s QUIC Protocol
>disabled Windows Security Real-time protection

Also forgot to mention that it's probably not my ISP blocking it either because I don't use any of the ones that are apparently known to block it (British Telecom, Vodafone, or some Australian/New Zealand ISPs).
I use T-Mobile USA.

And you've tried changing your DNS provider anyways, right?

I didn't know what that was, but after you said it I looked into it and changed my DNS server to Google's DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Idk why that fixed it, but it did, so thanks!
Is there any reason I wouldn't want to keep it set to those DNS servers going forward?

Where you using any other dns provider before?

Btw you can view them anyway if you replace the link with fatbox

every dns provider can block certain websites at will, so that could be a problem at certain moments but google is not a big offender in that regard
also, dns providers are basically a MITM of your network so if you're somewhat privacy conscious you may not want Google to make a history of literally all the websites you have visited
and then there's the ocasional slow server request that otherwise may not happen using your local dns

Thanks for this. After changing DNS the links started to work temporarily but have stopped working again. But the fatbox thing works, so I'll just do that from now on I guess
