I sometimes stumble on japanese imageboards when searching for weeb shit. I don't know a lick of japanese and obviously translation software is a far cry from nailing the nuances of the language.
I'd love some insight on what those places are like. What is the culture like? How much ruder are Japanese people online compared to anglos? Any funny nuances/in-jokes that gtranslate couldn't hope to catch? What's the difference between 2ch and 5ch?
