I'm trying to identify an anime/manhwa/cartoon/show where the main character is a powerless 'level zero' in a world where others have powers. My dad explained the details to me after he watched one of those YouTube recaps so the details might not be entirely correct. His memory is pretty bad.
MC gets bullied, his girlfriend (who has powers) leaves him for the bully, and one day he finds a strange book (or maybe a phone) that activates when his blood touches it. The book has an iconic look to it. Pretty sure there's things on the front cover of the book.
After injuring himself, the book absorbs his blood and gives him powers.
Everyone else is kind of wealthy but the main character is poor.
There's a scene where he bumps into a girl who gets disgusted after realizing he's level zero. At one point MC goes to celebrate something with his friends at a fancy restaurant and MC only has one decent pair of pants to wear. Near the end, aliens or something from the sky attacks. There's explosions happening around town. Pretty sure it's modern-day time setting. Pretty sure it's 2D.
