I'm currently building my own social media platform in PHP + SQL. It's a weird combination of 4chan and Discord. You post threads, but the threads are in private "servers" (oh god I hate how Discord calls channels "servers") that you need to join. Basically I'm making a Discord where every message is a thread, if that makes any sense.
My question:
A user has joined 3 different chatrooms: apple, orange, and dick. How do I save this multiple of data into a single SQL row? It's impossible, right? So where do I keep all the data of who has joined what?
>anon this is stupid, learn to use React and modern tools
After learning that 4chan is a single 10 000-line spaghetti file called "imgboard.php", I realized that code purity and technology used mean absolutely nothing and your users wont even care.
