I’m looking for the title of a movie I saw a long time ago on TV.

The premise was something like a rogue cop is tailing a criminal through different time periods at random.
Each time he returned from the jumps through time he would end up in a room with a glass of beer on the table. The camera would zoom in on the glass of beer to emphasise that the beer was still cold and carbonated despite how long he was in each time period. It looked something like pic related. The bubbles in the beer would then reverse from going up to going down as he jumped to another time period yet again.
