Looking for a movie. I remember little, basically there was some kind of parasite that get into humans and incubate inside then insect-like creatures hatch. An iconic part is that there is a police/officer/sheriff character with glasses I think. He wasnt very smart, and was killed by a moth like insect. Then later at the end of the movie in a bar, people watching a little tv with the news about this incident not believing it, then heard a laugh and turning around they saw this officer. When they asked him why laughing he said "Nothing. Want to see something funny?"

That's most of I remember. The sheriff wasnt mc btw.
