Hey, I'm looking for what seems to be an obscure sci-fi one-off comic. Which I read about 20 years ago.
The story starts off with a spaceship which has broken down and is floating in space. Inside, we see the dead crew partially undressed and tangled up in some sort of organic/plant matter web which all connects to one pod holding an alien-looking baby. Some sort of reptilian chameleon thing.
This reptilian appearance is revealed to be actually a protective cover for a healthy and happy human baby. Within two pages, we see the baby grow into an old and confused old man, with the implication being that it has lived out its whole life on this defunct spaceship.
Anyone know this story? Might be part of an anthology or collection of one shots.
