For the last three hours, I've been experiencing waves of agony on my left side which I suspect is my digestive tract having issues with my lunch and dinner earlier today. It's a sharp throbbing pain, isn't sensitive to touch, and consistently is a pain that progresses down before bottoming out in my lower abdomen.

Some background:
>Since January I've lost about 40 lbs on keto
>I noticed lower abdominal pains about 3-4 weeks ago which felt like a hand clenching my colon
>About two and a half weeks ago (May 13th or 14th) I had a gout attack that made my left ankle swell up
>Still hobbled around and went to work. Self-medicated with extra strong ibuprofen liqui-gels.
>Gout has passed but ankle is a bit fucked from lack of use.
>Have continued taking on average one 400mg capsule per day
>Just took 800mg of ibuprofen about two hours ago, the pain did not go down appreciably.

I am reluctant to go to Emergency because I suspect there'll be long wait times, and all I'm doing right now is waiting in agony. The pain hasn't really gotten better, but it hasn't gotten worse either. Is staying away from the emergency room a good call?
