I'm looking for some comedy anime to binge while I have a bunch of free time coming up. I'm having trouble searching for stuff myself, as every popular anime that has jokes (e.g. My Hero Academia) gets tagged as comedy and clogs up the list.
My favorite comedy anime that I've seen so far are Konosuba and Don't Hurt Me, My Healer, so ideally I'd like something along those lines. As childish as these words are, stuff that's "wacky" or "zany" are right up my alley, stuff that's fun to watch while drunk, with preposterous and absurd situations. At the same time, I'd like proper punchlines as opposed to the absurdity itself being the joke, which is why I never liked Pop Team Epic. I would think that the Red Ranger isekai would've been great for me, but despite my appreciation for silliness, the humor was oddly juvenile in a way I found boring. I'm sorry if I sound picky.
I'm perfectly fine with fanservicey stuff if it plays into the humor. Gushing Over Magical Girls does great at this, with the fanservice being over the top and the anime leaning into it by playing silly music over those erotic scenes. Stuff like the later seasons of Dog Days, though, just keeps stripping its female characters for no other reason than to try to make the audience hard, and that's not what I'm into.
Anyone have suggestions?
