>>1528093here are two lists of 4chan archives and the boards found on them:
https://wiki.archiveteam.org/index.php/4chanhttps://4chenz.github.io/archives.json/archives.jsonIt is not irregular for archives to shut down, for new ones to be started, or for them to move from one domain to another (URL change). Consult those sources to see what's up to date.
4plebs has the most advanced search functions. I'll cover all of them here. The other archives lack some of the most advanced ones, so if you see them missing from there then that means that they simply don't have that feature.
>Search or insert post numberIn this box you can type the words included in a post that you're searching for. e.g. if you search
>Testing testingthen it will return all posts that include the word testing (even if it only has it once). if you use quotation marks then it will return all posts that include the phrase included in the quotation marks, e.g.
>"testing Testing"then it will return all posts that include the two words "testing testing" in succession.
Only some characters are indexed; everything else is ignored. So "testing*( Testing?!" is the same as "testing testing", both for your search inputs and for the outputs. This is not exhaustive, but indexed characters include latin alphabet characters, digits 0-9, all japanese writing systems, simplified and traditional chinese, and cyrillic (but be careful if searching cyrillic - since ~2015, 4chan converts all cyrillic letters that are identical to latin alphabet letters to the latin alphabet versions, but 4plebs doesn't make the same conversion for you!). Many characters are excluded and do not effect searches, like !,'.?!@#$%^&*(), the entire greek alphabet, and devangari. Excluded characters are considered the same as spaces.
All searches are case-insensitive.
You can also use | as an OR operator: for example, test|testing will return all posts that contain the word test and/or the word testing.
