hi. not sure if this is the place to complain about my personal issues but w/e fuck u jannie

I have a asus 165 hz monitor for my windows desktop pc and lately every time I go afk for longer than 30 min or turn the pc on after a while the screen will start turning completely white.

sometimes it will turn itself on and off while being white, sometimes I can see the nvidia and asus icon in the bottom right corner, sometimes it gives me a fucking epileptic seizure before shutting off again.

I managed to "fix" it every time by taking all the cables in and out of the power socket, pc and screen and just pressing buttons on the monitor and waiting. But it takes longer and longer every time. This time I had to do this for 15+ min where now it runs flawlessly until I get away from the PC again

anyone knows what the problem is or had a similar experience? i read somewhere that it can be either the GPU, cables or monitor itself being fucked. My suspicion is cables or the monitor but idk
