for composers i guess there's a few still alive like arvo part, james macmillan, maybe roberto gerhard or some shit, maybe salvatore sciarrino. I tend to like the 'outsiders' not in the academic mainstream idk why.
my favorite conductors are all dead, neville marriner, fritz reiner, eugene jochum, evgeny mravinsky. the only one still alive is fedoseyev.
for pianists i really like pollini but he died last year. marc-andre hamelin is great though. i also like robert levin for his mozart piano concertos done with a fortepiano with the academy of ancient music.
for singers i guess i like kurt moll because i saw a video of him playing the commendatore in don giovanni which was fire, but obviously all my favorite opera singers are long dead.
