It was working fine for over a month, but yesterday my PC just stopped working. MOBO has the VGA light on and it won't POST. I can't even boot to BIOS with the card slotted. When I take it out and use an old card or onboard graphics, PC boots fine.
I am using an Gigabyte x870 which supports PCI-e gen 5
I have an 850W PSU
I made sure that the card was seated properly and the display port cable I was using works
I updated to the latest BIOS
I cleared all drivers
I still can't get my PC to POST
Another weird thing is that my PC stopped recognizing my Samsung 990 Pro m.2 NVMe right before I started having these issues. I restarted my PC to try to fix the m.2 and then the GPU just seemingly shit the bed (all I did was restart the PC). M.2 is working fine now. Only things I had installed on the m.2 that temporarily failed were Steam games.
Any thoughts? I'm running out of ideas to try to fix it. I'm planning on trying to return it, but I'd rather not mess with that if I could get it working.
