My Yahoo email account is compromised. The person who has access set up 2fa on their device and set throwaway email accounts as the recovery options.
I called customer support and they were able to give me access to my account for a brief moment before the hacker changed all the information back to theirs
It's an old email account I made as a kid. I hope there's nothing personal or otherwise in the account but is there any way to actually recover my account or is it a lost cause?
