Any idea what could suddenly cause a PC to not boot and get stuck on CPU check despite not touching the hardware?
Brother gave me his previous PC which is a beast with custom watercooling. It worked great for like a month but then when I tried to launch a game through steam, I got a black screen and after a manual shutdown the PC won't POST anymore. All the fans and lights work
What are the odds some piece of hardware randomly got fucked, either PSU, Mobo or CPU?
Sadly because of the custom watercooling in the system it's an absolute nightmare to try and mess with, I can't even manage to get to the CMOS battery as it's attached to the wifi module behind a shroud or some shit
I'm not familiar with bios flashbacks, but would that both be an option on a system that doesn't post and potentially fix the issue despite not making any changes in the BIOS in the weeks before it stopped working?
