It basically argued that World War 2, as a whole, served as a creation myth for boomers if you followed common tropes that cultures use. Clear good and bad guys, atom bombs and hitler as the evil forced and the allies as the heroes. OP argued that this black and white view caused western culture to be shitty today and that society as a whole is obsessed with WW2 because of secularization and neoliberalism
