DS meaning Dark Souls?
If so you'll probably like other action games Ninja Gaiden or God Hand

it doesnt need to be action games only, maybe some other types, i'm still searching for my taste, so nothing specified here, though quake, doom and half life are good ones here

I recommend Daxter even though it is a PSP game, with an emulator you can play it without any problem.
