salutations,

I am new to anime and picked up all the titles I could find at my library. these are what I have currently:

Afro samurai
Nadia: The secret of Blue Water
Black Lagoon
Neon Genesis Evangelion complete series with directors cuts
Cowboy bebop
Baccano!
Ouran High School Host Club
RWBY volumes 1 and 2
The Big O

I really do not know if any of these are any good. I have never watched anime in my life.
Also, what would be a good order to watch these shows in best to worst?

This followed by Big O and Afro Samurai. Nadia was made by the same folks that made Eva so if you like that... Baccano and Black Lagoon are garbage. Cowboy Bebop is only good if you really want a fictional universe to acknowledge gay people and if you masturbate to American cinema, otherwise there are better choices.

2. What is your media experience? What do you already like? Heavy viewer or casual?
And right off rip, RWBY is not an anime, it’s a western production.

as for my media experience, mostly a casual viewer. I've tried nearly every genre out there and enjoy pretty much anything if it has a good storyline

All of these besides maybe Afro Samurai are considered notable anime (RWBY isn’t anime).
Afro Samurai, Black Lagoon, Bebop, Baccano and The Big O are the easiest for a normal hollywood accustomed individual to get into. Nadia is a well liked adventure series but it comes with a catch, it’s got a string of episodes where the production falls apart before sticking the landing. Evangelion is the most highly praised of the bunch, but it can be more outside the comfort zone if you’re not used to more abrasive media. Ouran is the odd one out of the bunch, it’s a good comedy but it’s a shojo (girl appealing) show, it might feel pretty different.
I’d recommend watching in Japanese with subtitles if you can manage. Any starting point is fine really. Try Baccano.

Cool, well Evangelion is the best one you have in my opinion but most of those won’t steer you wrong.

As a short list to sample stuff, anime is huge and there’s a lot of sub genres for every kind of person. Your list is a bit skewed towards 90s and 00s action shows, but there’s a lot to explore if it clicks for you. Good luck have fun.
