And it did come with a warning about making sure xserver-xorg was installed, and it looks like it is. I even ran dpkg-reconfigure and it didn't help. Apparently I'm missing a mouse module?

Also tried updating the kernel in case that helped, and I have an issue about an expired keyring. Adding [trusted=yes] didn't seem to help.
