RE4 is not survival horror, it is action horror, and survival horror games usually have "bad gameplay" by action game fan standards.

Having said that, try RE2 remake if you have not.

Road to Vostok will be a permakill survival game.

It's not advertised as a "horror" game, but goddamnit, turn on the night and rain mode and hunt down those AI generated opponents in pitch black. Definitely will rock your socks.
