I'm trying to get Debian Jessie running on a VM in VirtualBox.
The kicker? This host has a 7th gen Ryzen. However, I also set up a similar Jessie VM on a laptop with a 3rd gen i7, and that boots just fine. Yet with my main PC, I had little issue running older or newer versions of Debian.
So is there anything I can do short of switching the CPU or VM software?
