Aren't appliances all digitally controlled with touchscreens and shit nowadays? Takes a lot more to fix than electrical tape and gumption. And if you nigger-rig something wrong and it catches fire or electrocutes someone's kid, it's on you.

I was thinking of rice cookers. I fixed one by replacing a thermistor though it broke again after a month. guess I need to solder it better or smth
