Hello, I'm trying to find an old shoot em' up game, I played it like 15 years ago.
Here's everything I remember:
- The level selection was on a map that was a graph (circles in which you could choose to go and edges that connect them). (I think, but not sure that sometimes the enemy could get a defeated area back).
- On the map you had a difficulty: value information.
- The menus had an old software style (buttons, dropdowns...)
- You could choose before starting from multiple ships. There were quite a few with different characteristics (health, speed, amount of weapons).
- You had bombs/nukes that dealt area damage.
- At the end of a level you either fought a big ship or a station that was made of destroyable parts.
- You could upgrade your ship between maps.
- It was in space.
- It was top/down, the enemies came from the top and you could move around the screen.
- It was free
