Bought computer 2019, 3000 aussie bux
Got pic related on my screen

Repair man says he can fix
Recover data
Fix cooling system
Hard disc corruptions
Windows corruptions

He wants 500 to fix it all

Is it a write off? Worth fixing?

Seems like ram issue. Remove one ram stick if you have 2 and try to boot. If same error try the other. If error persists test with another compatible ram stick.

Rip off. Fix it yourself.
Want data off it? Boot an Ubuntu stick and see if it can read it. If he's talking about Windows being corrupted and not the hard disk being busted, there's a good chance you can.
Fix the cooling == blow dust out and then make sure all fans spin when it turns on.
Hard disk corruption and Windows corruption is easiest to fix by reinstalling Windows after copying off any files you want.
Also check the SMART status of the disk(s) using CrystalDiskInfo once you have Windows working. If it's red, the drive is cooked and you have to replace the part.
