https://desuarchive.org/a/full_image/1756827478206078.pngNow, you'll notice that link above says "Error! The image was never in our databases." That's because 4chan changed filenames from 13 digits long to 16 digits long a few years ago. Some archives still only support the old 13 digit filenames, so they just drop the last three digits. So do this instead:
https://desuarchive.org/a/full_image/1756827478206.pngAnd there's the image. Now it can be hash searched as you suggested.
Note that some archives updated to support 16 digits, so whether you need to chop off the last three digits depends on the archive.
