Is there a free Youtube video downloader that doesn't downscale everything?

Want this as an .mp4 or .webm with audio:

Yes yt-dlp (command line stuff) or Jdownloader 2 (gui, but make sure to get the ad free version)

I have Jdownloader 2 but it only downloads the video's thumbnail. Might try yt-dlp alternatively
