#qr is the 4chanX quick reply element id (#quickReply for native) whereas for the close button elements, #qrClose is for the native one (.close for 4chanX). You have used the 4chanX quick reply id but used the native close button id
You need to choose which quick reply to support (or decide to support both)
No idea about the error element selector since I can't simulate it without some effort
