You seem to like either Tim Burton spoopy or fantasy stuff. I mostly have the latter.

- Ryuu no Haisha
- Kaiba
- Secret of Kells + the TV series that is a sequel to it
- Wakfu (it has 3 seaons) + Dofus (billion episodes)
- Mononoke (the anime, about the medicine seller)
- Mushishi
- Natsume Yuujinchou (lighter version of Mushishi)

Thanks for Ryuu no Haisha and Kells had a TV show out there that i missed?
OP could try: Tortov Roddle, Kino no Tabi (the old one), Last Exile, Read or Die. Deca-dence? Never watched it.

By the way i don't think Natsume should be compared to Mushishi, two completely different kinds of stories.

Since OP likes lighthearted stuff like Avatar and darker stuff like Made in Abyss, I think it's fair to suggest both.

Thanks for the suggestions as well. Last Exile looks like Blue Submarine but good. And Deca-Dance is Mortal Engines but shounenshit instead of Hollywood slop. But I enjoyed Mortal Engines.

Watch Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita. Not OP, you!

And both are allowed to enjoy Kin no Tori (1984). It's for kids, but fun. The tranny villain is fun.

I've been meaning to watch this for a while. is it as good as spirited away?

I should've included spirited away and princess mononoke in the OP as well, they are fucking great. arguably some of the best fantasy world building stuff ever made.

Nothing is as good as Spirited Away.
And I say that as a Ghibli hater. That movie alone gets a pass, it is my favorite of all time, between all pieces of audiovisual media.
