I mentioned disc drives as an alternative because you can replace them with an adapter for 2.5" SATA disk drives and I'm specifically looking for one of those because I would like to have a lot of storage and I refuse to pay three times as much for an M.2 SSD which most likely won't even fit because most laptops are made to only fit single sided M.2 SSDs
