The Terror and Chernobyl have a unique feel that I haven't seen another show recreate.
I want more shows like this;
>Everything is perfectly fine
>And then an authoritative figure with a lot of power makes an uninformed decision he thinks is the best possible decision and refuses to listen to any voices of reason telling him the decision is horrible to make
>Everything goes horribly wrong
>The authoritative figure refuses to take any responsibility for anything going wrong and maintains that everything is fine
>When it's impossible to ignore how horrible everything is and how badly he fucked up, the authoritative figure makes it everyone else's problem to clean up
>Everything continues to get worse as problems just cascade
>Logistical issues, short term problems, long term problems, interpersonal conflicts, and indescribable incomprehensible horrors all compound onto eachother
>It all just turns bleak and fucked up and everything seems utterly irreparable but everyone does the best they can do and you just think about how much better everyone's situation would have been if one person was willing to take accountability for a mistake or listen to other people tell him his ideas are retarded
What else is like this?
I'll accept stuff other than TV shows too. Anime, movies, manga, games, anything.
