Can someone please help me with my GPU? I couldn't find any info on this issue anywhere

I have a 5080 suprim liquid aio GPU. I want to take the pump cable for the GPU and attach it to the motherboard board instead of the GPU. The GPU keeps the pump running at high speeds and I have no control over it but if I somehow hook it up to the mobo, I could set it to 20% or something so it's not loud anymore

I bought a micro 4 pin header to mobo fan header already and I've already removed and replaced the stock fans with regular fans that hookup to the mobo but I cannot find any info on where the pump header is and how to detach it

It may detect the pump in your gpu.

Also the pump still doesn't go any lower regardless of what % I set it to

I think it's hardcoded to always run at max because changing the % anywhere between 30% and 100% doesn't affect the pump noise at all

There's usually just one designated pump header, next or near to the CPU_FAN header. While you can technically plug the pump in any of the fan headers I believe, the pump header can (usually) supply more amperage. That being said, I'd check if you can actually do this; the voltage might be different.

If it's possible, the cleanest solutions would be to flash a GPU BIOS with your desired settings. Just make sure to test and see what the min pump percentage is before it starts AND stops. You really ought to set the minimum speed above both values. After doing so, you should monitor temps and see if everything works well.

Also, sometimes the pump noise is exacerbated by improper radiator positioning. You should make sure you've done that correctly.

How do you edit and flash a custom nvidia gpu bios? I've tried looking for vbios editors but can't seem to find any specifically for the msi 5090
