I've made a post about this before, but didn't get much out of it.

Here's some things I remember about it

-Possibly 90's early 2000's anime
-It was a mature-like anime, nothing moe
-The character designs were like other serious anime with noses drawn
-The title may have something to do with the MCs profession
-MC is male, adult
-One episode involved him working together with a criminal so they don't sink into a marsh/swamp or something
-Another episode was in a desert, but only one episode had a desert, i'm sure the other episodes were in other random locations
-The mood was kind of depressing
-The OP may have had rain in it
