Is there some kind of trick to watching anime on kissanime? sometimes it works, sometimes the page just says "Please wait 5 seconds" and does nothing. using firefox and ublock on win7 btw.

It seems as if the check on kissanime.to doesn't redirect to kissanime.io.
After spending those five seconds on the verification page, you can enter the .io domain and should be able to access the site.

OP I know this awesome trick that lets you watch the source-video of any kissanime stream. First you open your torrent client, then you go to nyaa.se and find the show you want to watch and download it using your torrent client, then you watch it using the video player of your choice. Easy huh? You just learned the secret of kissanime. It actually just uploads publicly available anime episodes you can find on any anime torrent tracker, there's actually no reason to use kissanime at all unless you really, really love low bit-rate and watermarked videos, which I understand a lot of kissanime watchers seem addicted to.

Sounds like you're already having to wait to watch your video, and it doesn't even take very long to download an episode. If you download a batch torrent you set it to download in sequential order and then go make dinner/lunch or take a shit or just shitpost on 4chan for half an hour and the first couple episodes will be done and ready to watch. Even if you watch episodes at 1.5x speed like a fag you won't be able to outpace the speed at which new episodes finish downloading. If you don't have space to store them all just delete the episodes you finish.

And once you get all this down you can learn how to automate torrents for seasonal shows so you don't even have to go to torrent trackers and your client will just automatically grab shit via RSS feeds as soon as they're uploaded, which given the time disparity between Japan and the west is usually while you're sleeping or at work/school. I come home after work at all the shows that came out that day are already downloaded and ready to watch. I wake up in the morning and there they are, waiting for me.
