I agree they're incredibly easy to detect, but at the same time, I'm not sure exactly how much Riot cares about banning them.
I have a friend who bought an account off of one of those sites, and it hasn't been banned yet. I think it's been at least a year since he bought it, so if there really are banwaves, it seems like I can at least use the account for an entire season.
Additionally, he once told me about how he can't play arams on it because his aram mmr is stuck in 'bot mmr,' as in he only gets matched with bots. He theorized how Riot would just flag accounts as bots and place them in a separate queue like what they do with smurfs in normal games to separate them from new players.
