Hi /wsg/. A few months ago I had to remove a new GPU because it was making my PC crash, to the point where I couldn't get past Windows login without the screen glitching out and going black. The PC works fine with the GPU I had before but I wanted to play a more demanding game so a few minutes ago I tried putting the new GPU back in. Now, it gets past the BIOS screen and then the Starting Windows screen but then goes black. The GPU's fan starts working but nothing else happens.

How do I fix this? Is it a motherboard incompatibility causing this or is the GPU the problem? I did uninstall the old GPU's drivers before reinstalling the new one.
