>>274185If you want to learn more about surrealism really (in my opinin) the two works that sum it up most greatly are Salvador Dali's melting clocks and pic related. Surrealism is about world building. It's about capturing the dream-world with all it's nonsensical beauty and horror and wonder in a physical object. It's about making you want to know more about the world, about being given just enough that you can relate but showing a twisted enough version that it brings a sense of discomfort.
It is not something that easily translates well to the photographic medium without digital alteration.
