There's usually a period of time each year that lasts from two weeks to a month where I feel inspired and can draw without getting bored or tired. After that I burn out and can't pick up a pencil for a long time. I lack the will power to apply myself and actually studying art would just be too taxing and make it no longer fun for me.
That being said, I did read books about most the fundamentals and went through the material provided by /ic/ sticky
