Can anyone learn be basic hacking? Not websites or anything extreme, just a prank to pull on my friend.

Found some while waiting.
1) Find your pal's computer name
2) type shutdown -i in cmd
3) add his computer and shut it down with your custom message

That's not really hacking, this requires physical access to his machine, you have to type it in notepad, save it as .bat file and add to autostart.

Don't think so, it seems to be remote as long as the computer is on the same network. I don't know thought, might not be...
