I'm looking for games, movies, cartoons, and animes where mankind has made contact with alien species. Preferably where its about to integrate in an already established galactic society, or recently has i.e. not too far in the future.

I have already checked out Mass Effect, Halo, Starcraft, Star Trek, Sins of a Solar Empire, Wing Commander, Project Freedom, Stargate, and a couple of others.

What else is there ?
