can someone explain to me the weird e-politics behind illegalcopyrightviolation sites like bakabt or sadpanda (or even batoto) refusing to illegally copyrightviolate things that belong to specific groups, e.g. "don't upload anything by fakku" or "don't upload anything that's being officially released in the US"
i mean all the other shit they're hosting is SOMEONE's intellectual property and still just as illegal to hand out for free
